“WAITING HARVEST” is newest pastel painting I just completed! It is a large painting on pastel card 19.5 inches wide x 27.5 inches tall. Sold unframed. Picture depicts what it would look like framed.. This is a painting of a field of grain sorghum (about 2 miles from my home) ready to harvest waiting for the farmer and his combine. Each head of grain sorghum in this painting took 12 different colors of pastels x approximately 20 strokes each color equaling 240 strokes for each one. No wonder it took forever!!! I used unison colors, Sennelier, Diane Town and Mount Vision pastels. I do wish enjoyment for many years to the person who purchases this painting.
