“WAITING HARVEST” is newest pastel painting I just completed! It is a large painting on pastel card 19.5 inches wide x 27.5 inches tall. Sold unframed. Picture depicts what it would look like framed.. This is a painting of a field of grain sorghum (about 2 miles from my home) ready to harvest waiting for the farmer and his combine. Each head of grain sorghum in this painting took 12 different colors of pastels x approximately 20 strokes each color equaling 240 strokes for each one. No wonder it took forever!!! Framed with wooden frame and museum glassI used unison colors, Sennelier, Diane Town and Mount Vision pastels. I do wish enjoyment for many years to the person who purchases this painting.
